So what’s the game now? This, or the life I used to know?

When Miki Jones is pulled from her life, pulled through time and space into some kind of game—her carefully controlled life spirals into chaos. In the game, she and a team of other teens are sent on missions to eliminate the Drau, terrifying and beautiful alien creatures. There are no practice runs, no training, and no way out. Miki has only the guidance of secretive but maddeningly attractive team leader Jackson Tate, who says the game isn’t really a game, that what Miki and her new teammates do now determines their survival, and the survival of every other person on this planet. She laughs. He doesn’t. And then the game takes a deadly and terrifying turn.

I just think this sounds like it could be AWESOME, kind of like The Hunger Games with ALIENS. Like a mix of Hunger Games, Across the Universe, and maybe The Maze Runner. How is that not a good thing?!

What’s your Waiting on Wednesday pick??

Let me know in the comments, or link me to your WoW post and I’ll be sure to stop by! :)

  1. Thanks for stopping by my WOW. This sounds really good, definitely going on my TBR (as if I need another one but who cares) :-)

  2. I have an eARC of this and it sounds great so i can’t wait until I can get around to it. I totally agree with the Hunger Games/Aliens/Maze Runner comparison though. I’ll let you know if you’re right when I read it!

  3. Oh Rush sounds neat! Kind of Ender’s Game-ish, and since I loved Ender’s Game it definitely seems promising =) Great pick, this is definitely going on my wish list!

  4. I have this one on my list too! It sounds totally action-packed :) I hope it can still differentiate itself from the other books with similar themes though! But I’ve read one of Eve Silver’s adult books and really liked it, so I have high hopes for this one! Great choice :)
    Thanks for stopping by yesterday!
