Top Ten 2014 Debuts I’m Excited For

So many awesome-sounding debuts coming out this year!!! Lots of these are ones I’ve been looking forward to since forever (um, since their blurbs/covers were revealed, I guess, lol), with the exception of book #5 which Kierra told me about while I was working on this post and only had 9 books picked out, lol.

If you don’t have these authors on your radar yet, you better fix that ASAP because these books sound AMAZING…

  1. I have never heard of Midnight Thief, but holy shit! That synopsis! AHHHHH. ASSASSINS. THAT’S ONE OF THE THINGS I LOVE SO FUCKING MUCH. (You probably know that about me. ;D) TOTALLY ON MY BOOKS TO LOOK OUT FOR LIST. (And is it just me or when I read “stretch a coin,” I thought of Vin and Kelsier??? :D) And of course, Dorothy Must Die is on your list! Assassins ftw!

I have never heard of My Last Kiss, but I am pretty much in love with the cover. I love the cut-up feel of it.

  2. I’ve read Prisoner of Night and Fog and LOVED it. Very very much! As soon as I heard about The Midnight Thief, I knew I MUST read it! It sounds fantastic and while the cover might not be the most original, I’m quite taken with it as well. I’m also really excited for My Last Kiss!
When I first heard about a Mad, Wicked Folly I didn’t even really think about it–didn’t seem super appealing to me–but the early reviews have been great & the more I hear about it, the more I like. I’m still not sold but I’ll probably read it at some point this year!
