Feature & Follow Friday (#7)

Alison Can Read Feature & FollowIt’s Feature & Follow Friday! This is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Every week, we post our answers to a weekly question, and get to meet & follow other book bloggers!

This week’s question is: Give us a sneak! What are you reading? Tell us about a fun or fail scene in your current read.

I literally just started reading Anna and the French Kiss a few minutes ago. I am on page 2. :P So far there haven’t really been any “fun” or “fail” scenes… but there is a teaser thing in the beginning that I think happens later in the book, which is definitely not a “fail” scene. XP Anna and St. Clair are at a movie, trying not to catch each other’s eye (or maybe not not trying to, lol).

Again. Another glance. This time I turn, automatically, just as he’s turning away. It’s a dance, and now there’s a feeling in the air like one of us should say something. Focus, Anna. Focus. “Do you like it?” I whisper.
       He pauses. “The film?”
I’m thankful the shadows hide my blush.
“I like it very much,” he says.
I risk a glance, and St. Clair stares back. Deeply. He has not looked at me like this before. I turn away first, then feel him turn a few beats later.
I know he’s smiling, and my heart races.

Like I said, I’m not very far into it at all, but I’m super excited to be reading it because I feel like the book has been stalking me – reviews, top ten lists, Stephanie Perkins everywhere!! From what I can tell, I’m going to really enjoy it. I can’t wait to get past page 2, so if you’ll excuse me, I have to go read now, lol.

BTW, my Birthday Giveaway is still running, if anyone is interested – your choice of one of my top-25-favorite YA books. Go enter! If you’re following anyway, it’s like free chances to win… ;D

Top ten lists, review after review…I don’t know why I haven’t felt like reading it. I guess I’m worried I’ll be the black sheep and not like it. I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying it so far!
