Feature & Follow Friday (#5)

Format: select

Alison Can Read Feature & FollowIt’s Feature & Follow Friday! This is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Every week, we post our answers to a weekly question, and get to meet & follow other book bloggers!

This week’s question is: If you could hang out with any author (living) who would it be and what would you want to do?

Oh my God are you serious with this question. Ummmmm… Maybe Maureen Johnson? She’s so hilarious on her Twitter, and she seems really laid-back and also a little crazy (in the best way). ;) So she’d probably be able to come up with an awesome and slightly crazy plan for what to do while hanging out – because I would not be able to come up with anything other than awkward silence… Unless it were to convince her to let me read The Shadow Cabinet early because the end of The Madness Underneath killed me. …Yeah, that’s what we’d do. :P

Honorable mentions/alternates: Marie Lu, Marissa Meyer, Victoria Schwab, Maggie Stiefvater… They all just seem like really cool people! But again, no idea what we’d do outside of awkward silences. I get ridiculously tongue-tied around authors in real life. =S

I have only read books written by Marissa Meyer and Maggie Stiefvater… I have to check out the other authors that you mentioned too! :)

  2. I’m sure I’d be incredibly tongue-tied too! Really great choices though; Maureen Johnson does seem really funny and I’d also really like to meet Maggie Stiefvater because she’s one of my favourite authors.

Now following you via Bloglovin’ after following you last night on Twitter (I’m @LucyTheReader).

  3. I haven’t really heard of Maureen Johnson but Marissa Meyer, and Maggie Stiefvater would be awesome choices. So cool, bet they would be loads of fun to hang out with. :D

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a fab weekend.
