Feature & Follow Friday (#4)

Alison Can Read Feature & FollowIt’s Feature & Follow Friday! This is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Every week, we post our answers to a weekly question, and get to meet & follow other book bloggers!

This week’s question is: We are about to see a lot of posts & tweets about reader conventions, RT, BEA, ALA and many more are starting soon. Which one would you love to attend? Where and why?

I was insanely lucky to be able to go to ALAMW in January, for my work (plus I live in Seattle, so it was right here), and it was amazing. I had never been to anything like that before, and it was just… it was like heaven. So I would love to be able to go to ALA (unfortunately, work is not flying me to Chicago in June, so I won’t be going). But it is my DREAM to be able to go to BEA in NY. I mean, first of all, it’s in NY – I’ve never been and I really want to go someday. And as great as ALAMW was, BEA is supposed to be approximately a bajillion times more awesome. Ughhhh. I want to go so badly. But I will have to be content with sitting at home and flailing over everyone else’s tweets and blog posts. *sigh*

  1. I’d love to attend BEA, but it won’t be this year. I’ll live through everyone’s posts and squee along with them.

  2. It’s so awesome that you were able to go to a convention through your work! But yeah, it’s a big dream of mine to be able to visit NYC and go to BEA. Like you, I’ll have to content myself with living vicariously through everyone’s tweets and posts!

New follower. :) Here’s my FF.

  3. ALA always sounds awesome and I am super excited to be attending BEA this year, as well as visiting the USA for the first time ever!
