Feature & Follow Friday (#10)

Format: select

Alison Can Read Feature & FollowIt’s Feature & Follow Friday! This is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Every week, we post our answers to a weekly question, and get to meet & follow other book bloggers!

This week we’re doing an activity! Spine Poetry. Create a line of poetry with your book spines (take a picture). Not feeling creative? Tell us about your favorite poem.

I’ve always wanted to try my hand at this! I took a picture of my books lined up appropriately, but here’s the actual poem, with links to each book! ;D

This is what happy looks like.
Some quiet place.
Beautiful creatures unwind,
Under the never sky.

Yay! That was fun. :D If you want to follow There Were Books Involved, you can find me on Bloglovin’, Twitter, Goodreads, RSS, and (as of today…) Facebook!

  1. Hey! I’m a relatively new blogger, and I *tried* to write a poem out of book spines for this challenge, and sadly my results weren’t as amazing as yours. I recognize a lot of the books you used (I mean Unwind??? THAT IS LIKE LITERALLY MY FAVORITE BOOK EVER <3)(sorry had a fangirl moment there) and the poem turned out…really….poetic (for lack of better words). It made a lot of sense and the word usage was beautiful. (How do people do that)

Anyway, you can laugh at my bad poetry here: http://everyone-deserves-tea.blogspot.sg/2013/06/feature-and-follow-friday-5.html
